50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION (TS) CHANGE 94-18, l

" SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENT (SR) 4.0.5 REVISION AND TS 3/4.4.10 DELETION" In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, we are enclosing a requested amendment-to Licenses DPR-77 and DPR-79 to change the TSs of SQN Units 1 and 2.

The proposed change revises SR 4.0.5 in accordance with the recommendations of draft NUREG-1482, " Guidelines for Inservice Testing at Nuclear Power Plants," and NUREG-1431, Standard Technical Spscifications.

In conjunction with the proposed change to SR.4.0.5, TVA is relocating TS 3/4.4.10, Reactor Coolant System Structural Integrity, in accordance with the Commission's final policy statement for relocation of current TS that do not meet any of the screening criteria for 7

retention.

i The proposed TS change is identified in Enclosure 1.

The justification for the proposed TS change is provided in Enclosure 2.

A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration performed pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 is provided in Enclosure 3.

l TVA requests a 45-day implementation period for this TS change following issuance.
