l DOCKET NO: 50-269 UNIT: Oconee 1 DATE: 11/15/83 NARRATIVE SIDSLUtY Month:___QC10ber. 1983 Oconee Unit I reduced power early on October 23 for the monthly turbine valve movement test. Power was reduced to 85% for the test and was back at 100% by 8:00 AM.

October 28 power was reduced to replace the oil in the 1D1 heater drain pump.

Power was reduced to about 89% and returned to 100% the following morning.

DOCKET No: 50-287 UNIT: Oconee 3 DATE: 11/15/83 NARRATIVE SlDSfARY Month: October, 1983 Oconee Unit 3 tripped on October 13 due to a sudden drop in station instrument air pressure. The problem with the instrument air was resolved and the unit returned to service later that day.

1. Personnel Exposure For the month of September, 2 individual (s) exceeded 10 percent of their allowable annual radiation dose limit with the highest dose being 1.740 rem, which represents approximately 14.5% of that person's allowable annual limit.
2. The total station liquid release for September has been compared with the Technical Specifications annual value of 15 curies; the total release for September was less than 10 percent of this limit.
