On February 19, 1991, CP&L submitted a license amendment tequest, docketed on both Units 1 and 2, entitled Request For License Amendment, 24 Month Diesel Generator Surveillance Interval (NLS-91 020).
Subsequently, on March 18, 1991 (NLS-91-066) CP&L submitted a license amendment request, docketed on Unit 2, in which the Company stated that
.this submittal supersedes, in its entirety, the February 19, 1991 license amendment request regarding diesel generator surveillance i n t e rval s. The intent of this statement was to replace the February 19, 1991 license amendment request with the March 18, 1991 license amendment request and to inform the NRC that no further action required with regard to the February 19, 1991 submittal.
was Since the March 18, 1991 submittal was docketed solely on Unit 2, the NRC Project Manager for Brunswick requested that. the Company make an additional submittal, on the Unit I docket, withdrawing the February 19, 1991 license amendment request for Unit 1.
In order to avoid future confusion, this submittal is being made on both the Unit 1 and 2 dockets, CP&L hereby withdraws the February 19, 1991 submitral entitled Request For License Amendment, 24 Manth Diesel Generator Surveillance Interval (NLS-91-020) for both Unit 1 ard Unit 2.
