Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit flo.1 Docket No. 50-334, License fio. DPR-66 Generic Letter 83-13 Revised Response Gentlemen:

This revised response to Generic Letter 83-13 supercedes our previous response dated March 21, 1983. Our previous response stated that we would modify our technical specification surveillance require-ments to satisfy the generic letter concerns.

Since then we have found that the generic letter is not applicable to operating reactors.

This revised response is to notify you that aur earlier response is no longer applicable and that no technical specification changes will be made to modify our surveillance requirements for testing HEPA filters and charcoal adsorbers, in accordance with Generic Letter 83-13, as suggested by our previous response.

Very trul yours, J.
