On January 31,1995, you transmitted the results of the NRC's Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP) for North Anna Power Station for the period of April 4,1993, through December 24,1994. Your assessment concluded that North Anna's performance was superior in each of four functional areas:
Plant Operations,

Maintenance, Engineering, and Plant Support.
We have reviewed the SALP report in detail. Your recognition of the high level of performance achieved at North Anna Power Station is appreciated.
We also appreciated the opportunity to meet with you on February 14,1995 to further discuss the results of the assessment.
