Reference:

Letter, Mr. K. P. Baskin (SCE) to J. B. Martin (NRC),

dated August 15, 1983 Pursuant to Section 3.12.2 of Appendix A, Technical Specifications

to Facility Operating License No. NPF-10 and NPF-15 for San Onofre Units 2 and 3 respectively, our submittal referenced above provided the required 30-day written report for an occurrence involving the 1983 Land Use Census.

Our submittal provides a final report concerning the occurrence.

The following list provides changes in the land use within a five mile radius of the site reference point which have resulted in calculated dose commitments (in the applicable sectors) greater than the values being currently calculated in accordance with Technical Specification 4.11.2.3:

1) Addition of three new residential areas: (1) Camp San Mateo, 3.6 miles distant in Sector A; (2) Camp San Onofre, 2.4 miles distant in i

Sector C, and 2.8 miles distant in Sector 0; and (3) Camp Horno, 4.0 miles distant in Sector E.

2) Identification of an additional land use: a California Highway Patrol Vehicle Inspection Station (southbound traffic), 2.0 miles distant in Sector G.
