Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (OCNGS)
Operating License No. DPR-16 Docket No. 50-219 Service Water System Operational Performance Inspection (SWSOPI) Self-Assessment GPU Nuclear proposes to perform a self-assessment of the OCNGS Service Water System in a;cordance with the guidance provided in NRC Administrative Letter 94-03, " Announcing an NRC Inspection Procedure on Licensee Self-Assessment Programs for NRC Area-of-Emphasis Inspections." This self-assessment is being proposed as an alternative to the full-scope NRC inspection described in NRC Temporary Instruction 2515/118, Revision 1, " Service Water System Operational Performance Inspection."

Currently, the timing of this self-assessment effort is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 1995, and last approximately six (6) weeks.
GPU Nuclear will provide a formal proposal and is planning to make a presentation to Region 1 in the third quarter of 1995.
