3 building metal facade tore loose and fell across the 161 KV startup trans-former power lines, tripping the 161 KV power supply and resulting in i
a reactor scram. The line was in-spected and found slightly damaged and is scheduled to be repaired during the Spring maintenance outage.
The reactor building facade will be repaired as time and material allow.

OPERATIONS NARRATIVE COOPER NUCLEAR STATION j:
JANUARY, 1984
'The plant operated at: steady stete power with only one reduction in power on January 14 and one shutdown on January 29.
Power was reduced on January 14 to perform turbine testing and repair steam leaks'in the turbine. On January 29 during a wind storm, la metal panel from the reactor building was blown off and across the 161 KV startup power lines. The 161 KV transformer tripped from the ground and phase-to-phase fault and caused a reactor scram. A small

. amount of damage was found on the 161 KV power lines, but was not considered significant. The plant was started up and returned to power operation on January 31, 1984.. The 161 KV line will be repaired during our spring maintenance outage.
