1 The enclosed Summary Description is submitted in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR 73.55 (c)(8)(i) and 10CFR 73.55 (c)(9)(i). This description describes the proposed vehicle control i
measures which will be implemented at Vermont Yankee as required by 10CFR 73.55 (c)(7), and to confirm that the associated design goals and criteria will be met. It is further. confirmed that the land vehicle bomb comparison, required by 10CFR 73.55 (c)(8), indicates that the proposed control l
measures will stop the design basis vehicle, and its potential explosive cargo, outside of the safe-standoff distance perimeter defined in NUREG/CR-6190, Volume 1, Section 3.
