Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a potentially reportable deficiency in Reference (A), an Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B), and a time extension was requested by Reference (C). At that time, it was estimated that a Final Report would be available by August 31, 1983.

Due to the extensive investigation and uvaluation required, it is now expected that this infomation will be finalized by November 18, 1984, at which time a complete report will be submitted.

There is no new infomation or change to the Interim Report at this time.
