Letter dated January 24,1995 from John 8 Martin, Regional Administrator, Region Ill, NRC, to E Watzi transmitting SALP 12 Board Report, Inspection Report No. 50 263/95001.
Your letter dated January 24,1995 solicited written comments related to the Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP) Board initial Report covering the period June 1, 1993, through December 24,1994 (SALP 12).
The SALP 12 Report was the subject of a public meeting held at the Monticello Training Center on February 10,1995. We have no additional comments to offer related to the report.
As we noted at the February 10,1995 meeting, we appreciate the feedback the SALP process provides related to the operation of our nuclear generating plants. The analysis provided in the SALP 12 Report will be used to strengthen those areas where weaknesses are evident and provide further improvements in those areas in which we performed strongly.
