NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

OF OPERATIONS AUGUST, 1983 During the month of August, there were no unit shutdowns or significant power reductions.

The following safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of August:

1. Performed miscellaneous maintenance on diesel generators.
2. Cleaned out 1A charging pump lube oil cooler.
3. Replaced numerous waste evaporator: feed filters.
4. Replaced mechanical seal on spent fuel pool skimmer pump.

5. Adjusted numerous packing glands on main steam system valves.
