Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
In the Corrective Action section of Significant Deficiency Report SD 413-414/80-05, dated April 23, 1980, it was stated that the Catawba Unit i replacement guide tube support pins would be installed prior to operation and that the Unit 2 pins needed no corrective action at that time. The Unit 1 pins have been replaced.
The Unit 2 pins have been determined to need replacing as was done on Unit 1.
These pins have been received on-site and are to be installed by February 1, 1984.
