Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a potentially reportable deficiency in Reference (A), and an Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B). A Time Extension was requested by Reference (C), and a Revised Interim was transmitted by Reference (D). At that time, it was estimated that a Final Report would be available by August 23, 1983.

Due to the extensive investigation and evaluation required, it is now expected that this information will be finalized by November 17, 1983, when a complete report will be submitted.

There is no new information or change to the Interim Report at this time.
