Revision 3 contains the following corrections to the Control Room Review Supple-mental Report, Unit 1, Appendix D, Implementation Priority Schedule.
(a)Section I (Physical Changes) - Delete HED, 6,14, 52 (b)
Section I (Surface Enhancements) - Add (P) for partial imple-mentation to HEDS 367, 400, 405, 408 (c)Section II (Physical Changes) - Delete HED 429A (this HED is listed under Appendix C HEDs Not Corrected)
- Add HED 457 (d)
Section II (Surface Enhancements) - Delete HED 242 (this HED is covered by HED 80
- Correct HED 238 between HEDs 341 and 361 to be HED 348
- Add HEDs 367(P), 400(P), 405(P), and 408(P)
Revision 3 also contains, as a new page Page 6-7 which was omitted during the initial assembly of the document.
Instructions for inserting Revision 3 into the Catawba document are included as part of the attachment.

Emergency Operating Procedures Implementation Assistance (EOPIA) Review Group and published by INP0.
Duke Power was an active participant in this industry working group.
The Catawba Nuclear Station Procedure for Validation of Emergency Procedures is included as an attachment within this submittal.
6.6 EMERGENCY PROCEDURES TRAINING PROGRAM DESCRIPTION In preparation for Unit 1 license examinations, an EP training program consist-ing of a total of 32 weeks of classroom, in plant, and simulator training is planned.
EP training will occupy a total of approximately four weeks (160 hours0.00185 days <br />0.0444 hours <br />2.645503e-4 weeks <br />6.088e-5 months <br />) of training in the classroom and control room at Catawba Nuclear Station and a portion of the four weeks of simulator training at the Technical Training Center.
The classroom /in plant training is scheduled for the last half of 1983.
This will include classroom lectures of the EP steps and discussion of the following source documents:
o Westinghouse ERG's o Catawba Plant Specific Technical Guidelines c Catawba EP's in most current revision Following the classroom discussion, the procedure steps will be followed in the Catawba Nuclear Station control room, locating instruments and controls necessary for event diagnosis and control.

Simulator training is scheduled for the first quarter of 1984.
During this training, operators will use Catawba Nuclear Station procedures to respond to instrument failures, analyzed transients, and multiple malfunction.
