In Reference (c) we filed an Interim 10CFR50.55(e) Report regarding cracked capstan springs in Pacific Scientific mechanical shock arresters. The following information is being filed pursuant to the interim reporting provision of 10CFR50.55(e)(3). The reportability of this item remains under evaluation.

Pacific Scientific has completed an evaluation of cracked capstan springs in their mechanical shock arrestera. The evaluation is based on an independent metallurgical evaluation, and subsequent Pacific Scientific testing.
