Dear Mr. Vassallo:
By letter dated April 14, 1983, you requested Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) to provide additional information concerning the structural aspects of the Brunswick Plant Unique Analysis Report (PUAR).
In our June 2, 1983 response to this request, CP&L committed to provide responses to the structural evaluation questions by August 5,1983.
Subsequently, by letter dated June 3, 1983, you requested CP&L to provide additional information concerning the loads evaluation aspect of the Brunswick PUAR. In addition, your June 3, 1983 letter requested that a meeting be held by June 24, 1983 to discuss CP&L's responses to your questions.
As discussed with members of your staff during telephone conversations held on June 9,1983, June 20,1983, and June 21, 1983, CP&L' agreed and committed to hold a meeting during mid-August 1983 to discuss our responses to both your April 14, 1983 and June 3, 1983 requests for information. Therefore, as discussed with the Staff during the above referenced conversations, CP&L plans to submit responses to your April 14, 1983 and June 3, 1983 requests by August 26, 1983.
Based on August 26, 1983 submittal date, CP&L proposes that a meeting be held in our corporate offices in Raleigh, North Carolina on August 11, 1983.
