Dear Mr. Quamme:
Detailed below is our complete response to Stone & Webster's concern on the high number of revisions and time taken to process revisions.
To control the number and necessity for revisions, Bechtel Field Procedure FPG-1.000 requires that a Proposed Procedural Revision Request be submitted sunmarizing the change and the need for*the change. The change request must then be' approved by the initia-tor's supervisor, the applicable department head and the Field Construction Manager concurring with the change and the need.
Bechtel Management reviews the status of each new procedure and/or revision twice weekly to maintain a targeted turnaround of 15 days from initiation to issue.
