'In conjunction with the submittal of Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation's Updated Safety Analysis Report, Revision 3, for Nine Mile Point Unit 2, enclosed-are one signed original and ten copies of updates of isformation previously identified as proprietary in Appendix 6/. of the FSAR. Proprietary status per 10 C.F.R. $2.790 was granted by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for FSAR Appendix 6A in letters dated September 21,1983, March 20,1984,- and November 6, 2985.

Niagara Mohawk hereoy requests that the updated material be accorded similar status in accordance with 10 C.F.R. $2.790.
