Subj ect: Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (OCNGS)
Decket No. 50-219 Review of Final Environmental Statement (FES)
On November 10, 1982, GPU Nuclear Corporation received your letter dated November 5,1982, requesting us to review the existing FES for significant changes to the Oyster Creek facility or the environs that would af fect the conclusions reached in the FES. You requested our response within 60 days of receipt of your letter.
While CPUN has initiated our review of the FES, because of the dedication of ef fort required to continue preparations for the upcoming refueling and maintenance outage presently scheduled to commence in early 1983, and the normal interruptions to work schedules associated with the upcoming holiday season, GPUN respectfully requests an extension until March 15, 1983 to file the requested response.
We do not believe that such an extension would materially disrupt your schedule for conversion of the OCNGS's provisional operating license to a full term operating license. Thank you very much for your consideration of this request.
