ABSENCE OF QA APPROVAL ON QUICK FIX PCP
Reference:
NRC Letter, Docket No. 50-508, Mr. D. M. Sternberg to Mr. R. S. Leddick, NRC Inspection at Washington Nuclear Project No. 3, dated November 15, 1982.
The referenced letter identified an item of noncompliance found as a result of the October 1-31, 1982 inspections conducted by W. G. Albert at WNP-3.
The Supply System hak received the A/E's response regarding the subject item; however, the additional review and investigation required to deter-mine the extent of the problem has not been completed, Specifically, an evaluation by Ebasco is in progress to determine if the problem was an isolated occurrence.
It is anticipated that this evaluation will be com-pleted by January, 1983. Upon ccmpletion of the Supply System review, a i
report of corrective / preventive actions and date of full compliance will be provided to your office by January 31, 1983.
