DATE: May 17, 1982 PROJECT: Consumers Power Company Midland Plant Units 1 and 2 Bechtel Job 7220 Status of Corrective Action and Investigation

1. Technical Specification 7220-M-238 for upgrading electrical components of main steam isolation valve actuators, logic cabinets, and control panels was issued to Gulf and Western for a quotation on March 26, 1982. The quotation was received on May 10, 1982.

2. Investigation of adequate qualification and documentation of actuators and electrical components on orders not identified in MCAR 46 is proceeding. The status of this investigation will be provided in the next MCAR report.
