The Safety Evaluation which supported the amendment required you to submit for~-
NRC staff review and' approval the details of the restart test program to be used to return Unit 2.to service following the steam generator repair.
By letter-dated Hay 24, 1988, you su')mitted the integrated startup testing program.
0n July 18, 1988, a reeeting was held with you to discuss the restart test-program, in the meeting, you provided a short -sumary of. the program and provided a copy of each specific test procedure to be used prior to restart:of
-Unit 2..is a' list of the_ procedures provided to the NRC. staff which will be used'in the restart test program.
The NRC staff-reviewed'th'e restart < test program and determined that the proposed program for'the. restart of Unit 2 was comprehensive and provided for-testing of all systems and subsystems that have been er.odified as_ a result of
.the steam generator repair.
During the review, the staff raised concerns with the testing of _the vibration of the reactor coolant system, natural circulation testing,and testing-of _ the steam generator = level, control system.
These concerns
-were conveyed to you. in a phone call-on September-1,.1988.
By-letter dated September 7. 1988, you. responded to each of the concerns.
