APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT OF OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission ("the Commission"), Omaha Public Power District, holder of Facility Operating Licer5e No. DPR-40, herewith requests that- Technical

, Specification 2.7 be amended to provide for changes resulting from calculations

! performed to support the Design Basis Reconstitution effort, and clarify

! requirements for the 161kV line and Table 2-10 be amended to incorporate j administrative changes, i The proposed changes in Technical Specifications are discussed in the attachment to this Application. This attachment also demonstrates that the proposed changes do not involve Significant Hazards Considerations. The proposed-changes do not authorize any change in the types or any increase in the amounts of effluents or any change in the authorized power level of the facility.

WHEREFORE, ..pplicant respectfully requests that Appendix A to Facility l Operating License _No._DPR-40 be amended as discussed.
