Reference:

SCE&G 1etter to NRC dated December 7, 1990 Same subject as above South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G) is submitting a revised amendment request to supplement its submittal of December 7, 1990,

" Certification of Training Programs."

This revision amends the previously proposed TS to include the requirements of Regulatory Guide (RG) 1.8, Revision 2, April 1987, in TS 6.3 and 6.4.

This revision also differentiates the training reauiremen+.s for unit licensed and non-licensed staff.

This revision to the original submittal of December 7, 1990, has no significant impact on the safety evaluation or the no significant hazards determination, except for adding the reference to RG '. 8, Revision 2.

This proposed Technical Specification change has been reviewed and approved by.the Plant Safety Review Committee and the Nuclear Safety Review Committee.
