The NRC's letter dated December 5,1994, requested that the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) either commit to implement the current order timing modification and current order surveillance test as described in (1) WCAP-13864, (2) Westinghouse Technical Bulletin 'NSD-TB-94-05 RO, and (3) the "WOG Recommended Rod Control i
System Surveillance Test," prior to startup from the next refueling outage that starts l
within three months of the NRCs letter, or to provide an alternative schedule, in accordance with the commitments made in our letter LCV-0069-B dated i
September 15,1993, the change to the current order timing and the commencement of the periodic surveillance were implemented on VEGP unit one during the Fall outage earlier this year, and are scheduled for implementation on VEGP unit two during the refueling outage that is scheduled to begin in February of 1995.
The NRC will be notified of the implementation of the changes following the completion i
ofincorporation into VEGP unit two.
