Gentlemen:
On January 15,1991 (Serial: NLS 90-197), Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) requested a change to the Technical Specifications for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Units 1 and 2. The proposed license amendment revises numerous Technical Specifications in support of the realignment of portions of CP&L's organizational structure.
By letter dated May 17,1991 (Serial: NLS-91-128), CP&L submitted typed Technical Specification pages in support of the Staff issuing the requested license amendment.
Bared on a May 15,1991 discussion with the NRR Project Manager, these typed N
Technical Specification pages incorporated other changes requested in a February 11, 1991 license amendment request concerning Operations Organization Changos, issuance of which was anticipated prior to the Nuclear Assessment Department Organization Changes request.
During telephone discussions with Ms. Brenda Mozafari on May 29,1991, the Company was informed that the Nuclear Assessment Department Organization Changes were now expected to be issued prior to, rather than after, the Operations Organization Changes.
Based on this development, the Company offered to provido revised typed Technica!
Specification pages for the Nuclear Assessment Department Organization Changes. Those pagos are included as Enclosures 1 and 2. Revised typed Technical Specification pages for the Operations Organization Changes request will be provided by a separate letter.
