Subject:

Oconee Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-269, -270, -287 EDSFI Findings (Inspection Report 50-269,-270,-

287/93-02)

The response dated July 6, 1993 to the findings in Inspection Report 50-269,-270,-287/93-02 included a commitment to revise the Lee voltage calculation (Finding 2C). This revision would use the CYME program and include the transient response of the source with the present transient response of the loads. This calculation revision has been included in the Emergency Power Project with a completion date of 6/1/95.

This is the first extension from the initial completion date of 12/30/94.

In addition, Finding 2C contained a commitment to revise the calculation supporting voltage adequacy from the Central Switchyard. This revision will incorporate the lower source impedance for the CTS transformer in the calculation. This revision has been included in the Emergency Power Project with a completion date of 6/1/95. This is the first extension from the initial completion date of 12/30/94.

Finding 2G requires the performance of a calculation to analyze the Keowee DC circuits down to the component level. i This calculation has been included in the Emergency Power  !

Project with a completion date of 6/1/95. This is the fourth  !

extension for this commitment from the initial completion l date of 12/31/93. I l

Development of a calculation to analyze the voltage adequacy j for the SSF diesel generator was committed to in the response I to Finding 2I. This calculation has been included in the Emergency Power Project with a completion date of 6/1/95.  !

This is the first extension from the initial completion date of 12/30/94.

The response to Finding 6B indicated that the valves 10G-7  !

and 20G-7 will be tested to verify valve operation and qualify the successful performance of the valves. The 1 9412290239 941221 \

, b Document Control Desk December 21, 1994 Page 2 testing is desired to be performed in conjunction with the governor maintenance at Keowee. The governor maintenance is scheduled to occur in the first half of 1995. Therefore, an extension of the completion date to 6/1/95 is needed. This is the third extension of the commitment item from the initial completion date of 12/31/93.
