l NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
l MONTH: January 1995 McGuire Unit 1 began the month of January operating at 100% full power. The unit'
. operated at or near 100% full power until 01/29/95 at 1822 when the reactor was i manually tripped due to 'D' steam generator main feedwater containment isolation !
valve (ICF-26) failed closed. The unit returned to service on 01/31/95 at 0954. j
-During power escalation, the-unit held from 1812 at 53% power _for the remainder of i the month due to swapping control oil filter on '1A' feedwater pump.

SUMMARY
MONTH: January 1995 McGuire Unit 2 began the month of January in end-of-cycle 9 refueling outage. The refueling outage spanned 48.89 days. The unit was placed on-line 01/12/95 at 0245.
During power escalation, the unit held at 20% power on 01/12/95 from 0445 to 1806 due to auxiliary feedwater flow balance testing. The unit held at 37.5% power from 2325 to 01/13/95 at 0315 and the unit also, held at 76.7% power from 2047 to 01/14/95 at 0051 due to core flux mapping. The unit returned to 100% full power on 01/15/95 at 1655 and operated at or near 100% power the remainder of the month.
