Subject:
Catawba Nuclear Station - Response From SCDHEC NPDES Groundwater Monitoring Plan for WC File:
CN-702.05 Attached please find the response from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control to our letter dated August 16,1994. This letter approves the revisions to the groundwater monitoring program around the conventional treatment ponds. The most significant change is to increase the timeframe between sample collection and reporting from 60 to 90 days. The original timeframe of 60 days was difficult to meet due to analytic:J and data review timeframes.
Should there be any questions with respect to this letter or the groundwater monitoring program please feel free to give me a call at 875-5965.
Sincerely, 1 QL ohn Estridge, Engmeer Environmental Division, Water Protection t
