f SUfeiARY OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE SEPTEMBER 1983 Indian Point Unit 3 remains in a forced outage caused by a malfunction in the main electrical generator.

Repairs are now in progress and it is estimated that the unit will be returned to service in January 1984.
