Dear Senator biadley:

The Berkeley Township Environmental Commission respectfully P

requests that you use your office to insure that a most vigorous safety inspection be made of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant while it is down for its current refueling outage.

The Oyster Creek plant is the oldest boiling water reactor plant in the United States and is heavily criticized by nuclear experts for possible cracking in its boiling reactor.

After all safety related reactor internals are thoroughly inspected for cracking, the results of said inspection i

should be officially filed for public review in Ocean County.

Due to our road structure in Ocean County, mass evacuation during an emergency would be virtually impossible.

A response would be most appreciated.

Thank you for your consideration.
