Dear Mr. Murley:
In compliance'sith 10CFR50 55(e), this is an interim report on the subject deficiency. Two interim reports (References 2 & 4) were previously submitted to your office by PECO whereas the Reference 3 interim report was submitted to Mr.
Victor Stallo, Jr.'s office in Washington, D.C. by Brown-Boveri Electric, Inc.
The deficiency has been corrected in a n but one breaker, either by adding the emitted spring to the operating mechanism or, in a few cases, by replacing the existing spring. One breaker has continued to misoperate and it has been g )b" 0309120416 830825
