Clinton Power Station Unit 1 Application of ASME Code Case N-315
Dear Mr. Schwencer:
Illinois Power Company intends to make use of ASME Code Case N-315, " Repair of Bellows", approved February 14, 1983, on ten guard pipe expansion bellows.
These expansion bellows serve as a flexible boundary connecting the various guard pipes to their respective drywell penetration sleeves.
We request NRC approval for use of ASME Code Case N-315 at the Clinton Power Station for the purpose of making the necessary repairs on our expansion bellows.
Please advise us as soon as possible if you have any questions on our request to use this code case.
