RESPONSE TO RSB's CONCERNS ON d P INTERLOCK SETPOINT VALUE I
AND ECCS ANALYSIS L
The ECCS analysis currently documented in FSAR Section 6.3 is representative of a typical BWR/4.
The plant unique calculations for Limerick will be submitted to the NRC in February, 1984.
Those results will be based on Limerick specific parameters that include the LPCI injection valve AP permissive selected to protect the low pressure ECCS piping and equipment outside the RCPB.
Preliminary assessments indicate that Limerick's calculated PCT, uith the revised AP permissive, will increase by apgroximately 20 F.
Even so the PCT is expected to remain around 2000 F; well below the 2200 F limit.
