Enclosed is a revised version of the University of Utah Proposed Operator Requalification Program submitted for your staff review and evaluation. This revision responds to your letter dated 13 May 1991 regarding exemption of the Reactor Supervisor and Facility Director from the requirements regarding written examinations. We have responded to your request by proposing that the Supervisor and Director alternate yearly in preparing, administering and grading the examination and administering the examination to each other on a biennial basis as shown in the underlined changes indicated on page 3 of the Reactor Operator Requalification Plan (see enclosure).
