Reference (1) requested that the NRC exercise enforcement discretion not to enforce certain surveillance requirements for the Unit 2 Train B Diesel Generator (DG) which otherwise require testing of that DG on a seven day 1
frequency.
Reference (2) requested a license amendment to exclude two recent failures of the tubing at a vent connection on the Unit 2 Train B DG fuel oil header from consideration in determining the test frequency for that DG.

these letters discussed a design change to remove the vent valves and tubing of concern on the Unit 2 DGs and to plug the remaining holes.
The purpose of this letter is to inform the NRC that the vent connections of
)
concern on the Unit 2 DGs have been plugged. The Train A DG was completed first and the Train B DG was completed on November 15, 1994.
