2330 Entered 6 hr. LCO per T.S. i.C.I. 2nd LRED

^ initiated. Two LREDs became 259/83034 2350 Started shutdown of Units 2,3 + B0P Log (SE) 2 & 3, plant outside LCO per BF 12.14, TS 4.7.B.3.c.

(Requires completion of SI's on operable SBGT trains within 2 hrs. of a train becoming inop.)

(6/14/83) 2400 4.7.B-1 completed on (1) UO log A + C SBGT (B inop SI's)

SI's not complete on'A+C trains within 2 hrs.

10010 IP-2 cancelled, A+C - (1) SE Log train SBGT operable 0105t 4.7.B-7 SBGT Flow i (1) UO Log rate test on "B" SBGT Train. Results called out to do A&C train but only did B train because A&C declared operable.

0245 4.7.B-7 completed for (1) UO Log "B" SBGT train,-flow Additional Comment:

set per SI @ 8458'CFM. It was observed that (via traverse). Flow the control. rm flow meters here are for meters disagreed w/the totalizing flow on all traverse.

SI 4.7.B-2 run - Rif (B-train) litt failed to operate as reg'd - Ck'd operation of

0600 Ck'd position of 0-65-503 SGT "B" SWS and 0-65-504 SGT "A". Visually in duct both dampers nearly closed.

0745 Discussed two LREDs w/ Gerald Paulk.

0800 Dwight Mims asked Roger McPherson to collect data & check damper positions on all SBGT trains.

0810 Elect. cking "B" train (1) SE Log SGT. This work stopped when adjustment began on A&C.

0845 Ron Burns instructed IM's to check out flow transmitters.

0900 Dampers found to be considerably more closed that, they were when pitot measurements were made in May, 1983. This was discussed by BRM, DCM, Ril, JES and the decision was made to return A & C train dampers to their .- -

preset position and verify these positions with pitot traverses.

1015 Dampers on A & C SBGT trains returned to preset positions.

Preparations in progress for pitot traverse on both trains.
