Perry Nuclear Power Plant Docket Nos. 50-440; 50-441 Borg-Warner Valve Radiographs (RDC 73(83)]
Dear Mr. Keppler:
l Our interim report to you dated June 10, 1983, stated that our final report on the subject valve radiographs would be submitted July 10, 1983.
The forty-l four valves selected as a representative sample were re-radiographed by Magnaflux Corporation. These radiographs were then submitted to Borg-Warner for their J
review and acceptance.
I Borg-Warner and their Authorized Nuclear Inspector (ANI) have completed their review and returned the film to site.
PNPP personnel are currently performing their evaluation.
Results of both reviews will be discussed at a meeting scheduled at the PNPP site July 12 and 13,1983.
Participants at this meeting include those identified in our June 10, 1983, report.
As discussed between Mr E. Riley of The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company and Mr. J. Konklin of your office on July 8, 1983, our final report on this subject is now scheduled to be submitted August 31, 1983.
