The purpose of1.icense Amendment Request 93-20 [ Reference (b)] is in part to propose changes to the Seabrook Stati n Technical Specifications to redefine Station Operation Review Committee (SORC) composition based on experience and expertise and to allow implementation of a Station Qualified Reviewer Program for the review and approval of designated Station procedures that do require a 10CFR50.59 evaluation. The Staff posed several questions during the review of License Amendment Request 93-20 [ Reference (c)]. The North Atlantic response to these questions are provided below.
Question: What are the qualification requirements of SORC members?
North Atlantic Response: SORC members must have a minimum of eight years power plant experience, of which a minimum of three years shall be nuclear power experience. At least one member must hase a Senior Reactor Operator license for Seabrook Station.
Question: What would be the required SORC quorum if the number of SORC members were to exceed the e.Wsting nine individuals?
North Tilantic Response; if the SORC membership were to be defined as having greater than the minimum composition of the Chairman and nine members currently proposed. Nonh Atlantic would require a quorum to consist of the Chairman or one of his designated alternates and sufficient SORC members including alternates to equal at least 50 percent of the SORC composition.

A Bachelors degree in engineering, related science, or technical discipline, and two years of nuclear power plant experience; or Six years of nuclear power plant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by a
-department supervisor.
