Dear Sir:
By letter dated June 24, 1994, Relief Request 94-005 was submitted to your office for NRC review and approval.
This request for relief from ASME Code requirements involved both the 1986 and 1989 Edition of Section XI, IWA-5250, Corrective Measures dealing with the discovery of leaking bolting.
After subsequent discussions with your technical staff, we have determined that the pursuit of approval for this request is no longer beneficial; therefore, we are formally withdrawing Relief Request 94-005 from further consideration.
