- 1990, the below notification is provided regarding the implementation of the fire damper replacement work at BVPS Unit No.
1.
Replacement has been completed for all 17 fire dampers affected by the UL fire test results noted in Reference (3).
During the 8th refueling outage at Unit 1, replacement dampers were installed.
Upon completion of installation, each of the dampers was operationally tested.
Based on satisfactory testing results, the fire dampers were declared
- operable, and the compensatory measures in the form of fire watch patrols for the affected areas were terminated.
This completes our corrective actions for the Unit 1
fire dampers.
