Recently, the Staff requested additional information on CP&L's June 17, 1991 (NLS 91097), submittal regarding a one tirne only extension of the surveillance interval associ ated with Technical Specification 4.8.1.1.2.d.1 for diesel generators 3 and 4.
The purpose of this submittal la to provide the requested supplemental information.
The last performance of Technical Specification 4.8.1.1.2.d.1 surveillance requirements was succeanfully completed on November 15, 1989 for diesel generator 3 and on November 7, 1989 for diesel generator 4.
The, total run time from the last completion of Technical Specificattun 4.8.1.1.2.d.1 through July 21, 1991 is 71.2 hours2.314815e-5 days <br />5.555556e-4 hours <br />3.306878e-6 weeks <br />7.61e-7 months <br /> for diesel generator 3 and 87.6 hours6.944444e-5 days <br />0.00167 hours <br />9.920635e-6 weeks <br />2.283e-6 months <br /> for diesel generator 4.
in addition, the Juno 17, 1991 submittal stated that Unit 2 was shutdown on March 29, 1990 and Technical Specification requirements 4.8.1.1.2.d.2 through 4,8.1.1.2.d.7 were completed. Unit 2 was actually shutdown on March 29, 1991.
This typographical error appeared in Enclosure 1 Basis For Change Request, and in Enclosure 2, 10 CFR 50.92 Evaluation.
