South Texas Project Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Final Report Concerning Dresser Main Steam Safety Valves On May 17, 1983, pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e), Houston Lighting & Power Company (HL&P) notified your office of an item concerning main steam safety valves supplied to the South Texas Project (STP) by Dresser Industries.
Upon completion of an evaluation of this item, HL&P has concluded that it does not meet the reporting criteria of 10CFR50.55(e) and, therefore, is not reportable. Thus, this item is considered closed.
Verbal notification of this conclusion was previously provided to your office on June 7, 1983.
