The attached Technical specification change Request proposes to change OCNas Technical specifications with regard to the design pressure for the drywell primary containment vessel. The current drywell design presouro is 62 psig.
The calculated peak drywell pressure resulting from the design basis loss of coolant accidento as substantiated by recent analysin o is 30 psig. Ve have added a 15% allowance to arrive at a new design pressure of 44 psig.
This request is part of CPUN's comprehensive program to address the corrosion of tho Oyster Creek drywell. Ve o therefore, request that a high priority be assigned to this request. This change request has been reviewed in accordance with Section 6.5 of the OcNos Technical specifications and using the standards o
in 10 CTR 50.92 we have concluded that these proposed changes do not constitute a significant hasards consideration.
Pursuant to 10 CTR 50.91 (b) (1), a copy of this change request has been sent to the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
