Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File: 0260/L-835.0 Special Report 83-065/0 - Fire Rated Penetrations Reworked AECM-83/0462 On July 8, 1983, the fire rated penetrations listed on the attached page were reworked due to incomplete documentation and secondary containment penetrations not being sealed properly (improper sealing resulted in air in-leakage). A Limiting Condition for Operation was entered in accordance with Technical Specification 3.7.7.
The discrepancies and corrective actions are identified on Material Non-Conformance Reports 00416-83 and 00479-83. This is reported as a Special Report pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.2.
This condition has no affect on the health and safety of the public and does not constitute a threat to plant safety. The work tasks are expected to be completed by September 30, 1983.
