This is to advise you that our response to reference c) must be delayed as follows:
1)
We expect to provide satisfactory responses to most or all questions, with the exception of 16(a), on or before June 1, 1983.
2)
As you may be aware, the test program being conducted in Providence in-dicated clamp induced pipe stresses which do not provide a satisfactory margin.
Therefore, minor clamp modifications and a retesting program must be undertaken.
It is expected that these will be completed, and a response for Question 16(a) will be available by June 15, 1983.
This is in accordance with reference e) which connitted to submittal of the test results in June 1983.
In order to insure closure of this issue as early as possible, it is sug-gested that a meeting between our representatives and the NRC staff re-viewers be scheduled when the data resulting from the above test is avail-able.
