Nuclear Regulatory Cocolssion (the Comnission) has issued Anendnent ho.18 to Facility Operating License No. HPF-10, and Anendment No. 6 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-15 to Southern California Edison Company (SCE),
San Diego Gas and Elactric Company, The City of Riverside, Calif ornia arid The City of Anahein, California (licensees) for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3 (the facility) located in San Diego County,-California.
These amendnents are effective April
, 1983.
The anendments nodify the Energency Preparedness license conditions to require further efforts to assemble and keep current a list of housebound people within the Plune Exposure Energency Planning Zone, and to develop and initiate d training progran to assist Orange County Transit District bus drivers in the event of a radiological emergency at San unofre. These amendments were authorized by the Atonic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board's Decision of March 4, 1983, ALAB-717.
Issuance of these anendments conplies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as ancnded (the Act), and the Comission's regulations. The Comission has made appropriate. findings as required by the j
Act and the Comission's regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendnents.
