McGuire Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-369, 50-370 Safeguards Condngency Plan Revision 6 Dated May 29,1991 Gentleman:

As required by 10 CFR 50.54(p), attached are four (4) copies of Revision 6 to the McGuire Nuclear Station, Safeguards Contingency Plan. Revision 6 includes corporate management and station security organization changes, conditions under which the CAS/SAS operator may assume the duties of the Security Shift Supervisor, a deletion of the requirement for the CAS/SAS operator to check intrusion and surveillance equipment at the beginning of a contingency, a deletion of the reference to meet the specification of GSA Interim Fedem! Specification W-A-0040B, architectural changes to Plan Illustrations and other miscellaneous changes. Details of each change made in Revision 6 are outlined on the attached Synopsis of Changes page. Revision 6 does not decrease the effectiveness of the Safeguards Contingency Plan.

Since this information provides details of the physical protection system at McGuire Nuclear Station, I request that this information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
