Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a potentially reportable deficiency in Reference

-(A), an Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B), Time Extensions were requested by Reference (C), Reference (D), and Reference (E). At

that time,.it was estimated that a Final Report would be available by April 13, 1983.

Due to the extensive evaluation required,.it is now expected that this information will.be' finalized by May 24, 1983, when a complete report swill be submitted.-

There is no change to.the Interim Report at this time.
